SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 17, 2016 — DPSS LasersSpectra-Physics has announced the Talon 355-30 and 532-40 high-power UV and green Q-switched, diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers.

Talon 355-30 delivers >30 W at 355 nm and a 100-kHz repetition rate, and Talon 532-40 outputs >40 W at 532 nm with a 100-kHz repetition rate. The new lasers operate over a wide repetition-rate range of 0 to 500 kHz and have excellent beam quality and pulse-to-pulse stability.

The models are ideal for PC boards, electronic components, semiconductors and displays, as well as lithium-ion batteries, photovoltaics, LEDs and carbon-fiber reinforced plastics in the clean energy field.
