BURLINGTON, Mass., March 11, 2013 — Steinmeyer Inc. has announced the DT240, a rotary stage with torque motor drive. With an overall height of 100 mm and width of 240 mm, it is suitable for applications requiring space-saving solutions.

It has a repeatability of ±0.0001°, a maximum speed of 480 rpm and a continuous torque of 8 nm, rendering it compatible with laser machining, precision wafer inspection and fiber optics.

Manufactured from a low-distortion black-anodized aluminum alloy, the device is equipped with an angular encoder with a resolution of 0.0001° and a contactless hall sensor for a reference switch.
