Deep-UV LEDsThe DUV255-SD353 series of deep-UV, high-power LEDs from Roithner Lasertechnik GmbH is based on aluminium gallium nitride.

The single-emitter devices feature a typical peak wavelength of 255 nm and a typical optical output power of 5 mW at a current of 350 mA in a 3535 surface mount device package. It features integrated anti-static component protection and a flat quartz glass window or glass lens.

The DUV255-SD353 series of LEDs are ready for the reflow soldering process and can be delivered on tape. Applications include forensic analysis, disinfection, optical sensing, and imaging.
