SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 15, 2020 — Deep Dimming LEDThe LUXEON 3030 HE Plus Deep Dimming LED from Lumileds is engineered for architectural applications that require uniform light output through the entire dimming range and in any operating condition.

The LED is designed for LED-to-LED flux uniformity across the entire dimming curve, down to 1%, to achieve consistent visual performance. From full intensity above nominal current of 65 mA to 1% intensity at 0.65 mA, every LED will provide the same flux performance in the application. A forward voltage variance of 0.10 V simplifies driver design and compatibility. The single three SDCM color bin ensures color consistency at any correlated color temperature. Lumileds’ 3-V 3030 package allows for drop-in replacement of existing 3030 footprint LEDs.

The devices are available from 2700 to 6500 K with minimum CRIs of 80 or 90. They deliver high efficacy across all LUXEON 3030 mid-power product lines, from 162 to 210 lm/W. Typical forward voltage is 2.71 plus or minus 0.05 V.
