Depth CameraThe Intel® RealSense D455 depth camera from FRAMOS GmbH is designed for challenging 3D camera implementers.

A 95-mm baseline improves depth accuracy while reducing depth errors to <2% at 4 m. Stereo depth images are further enhanced by a global shutter RGB sensor used to improve correspondence between depth and color images. The color imager utilizes a matching 86° × 57° field of view, the same seen by the depth sensors. Included in the camera is a Bosch BMI055 inertial measurement unit to improve environmental awareness for robotics and drones. The active IR stereo depth data output resolution is 1280 × 720 running up to 90 fps while the color sensor runs at 30 fps.

Applications include collision avoidance, 3D scanning, digital signage, and robotics.
