LAKE FOREST, Calif., March 3, 2023 — Dermatologic LaserThe Waterlase Fractional Handpiece from Biolase Inc. is a dermatologic laser for skin resurfacing featuring an erbium, chromium, yttrium, scandium, gallium, garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) laser and water atomization.

The device creates a uniform, one-dimensional pattern of micro-perforations on the tissue surface for maximum efficacy. The all-tissue laser provides the doctor with control over the depth of penetration with different parameters and treatment techniques. A diffractive, micro-optic lens array delivers 10 microbeams in a single line/laser pulse for ablative and nonablative skin resurfacing.
