OLCHING, Germany, Feb. 27, 2015 — Laser Components detector cardsDetector cards for wavelengths from 1.5 to 5 μm and 5 to 20 μm help verify the path of invisible laser radiation.

Offered by Laser Components GmbH, the cards are ready for immediate application and do not have to be activated or optically charged. They can localize the beam path of Hol:YAG, Er:YAG, CO2 and other lasers.

High-power versions have an active area of 40 × 52 mm and can be used with a laser power of up to 120 W/cm2 and 50 W/cm2.

The high-power/low-power version has two active areas. Integrated into the converter card, each of which measures 40 × 25 mm, is a low-power side that works with up to 8 W/cm2 and a high-power side that is identical to the high-power version.
