Diamond J-Series CO2 Lasers

Coherent Inc. has introduced a range of CO2 lasers in its Diamond J-Series for applications in system integration.

The lasers feature a common mechanical, electrical, optical, software and control interface, with powers ranging from 150 to >400 W, and output wavelengths of 10.6 and 9.4 µm.

An integrated RF power supply eliminates the traditional RF umbilical to enhance reliability and lower cost of ownership, while reducing the overall laser footprint. With a long-wave IR output, they are suitable for applications including marking and drilling of materials including paper, textiles and thin metals.
