With an extremely clear appearance and hardness of more than 20 gigapascals, the Diamonex ClearShield scratch and wear-resistant window coating from Morgan Advanced Materials was developed to meet the electronics market’s transition to optical image scanning and data capture.

Superhard, diamond-like carbon coatings are clear, scratch-resistant and intended for long wear.

With high optical transmission on glass, the material is suited for security and inspection systems, high speed document and parts processing, optical comparators, travel document readers and other visioning systems.
