The L16462-01 diffuse reflection light source from Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. irradiates NIR light onto samples at wavelengths of up to 2500 nm, collecting the diffuse reflection light with high efficiency.

The light source increases the light utilization efficiency in wavelengths ranging from 1700 to 2500 nm. Combining this with a high-sensitivity Fourier-transform IR spectrometer engine allows for a compact, portable analyzer that is easily installable on production lines for food, pharmaceutical, and plastic products. The L16462-01 also delivers higher accuracy in analyzing samples that contain fats and proteins.
