Digital Fiber-optic GyroscopeThe Boreas D70 digital fiber optic gyroscope from Advanced Navigation is an inertial navigation system for surveying, mapping, and navigation across subsea, marine, land, and air applications.

The system combines closed-loop and accelerometer technologies, with a dual antenna real-time kinematic global navigation satellite system positioning receiver. These are coupled with an artificial intelligence-based fusion algorithm to deliver accurate and precise navigation. The gyroscope features ultrafast gyro compassing, acquiring and maintaining an accurate heading under demanding conditions.
