DRESDEN, Germany, May 26, 2022 — Digital Pyroelectric DetectorsTwo-channel LID-2322 digital pyroelectric detectors from InfraTec GmbH feature a TO39 housing for gas analysis devices.

With a small, compact housing and battery power, they can be used for mobile devices. Optional thermal compensation reduces the effect of external fluctuations. An integrated I2C communication interface with up to 1 MHz enables immediate measured values via a PC or microcontroller. Apart from the power supply connections, two additional connections are required for operation of the detector to allow it to be parameterized and read out, keeping external hardware requirements to a minimum.
