Dilas Broadens Wavelengths
DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH
MAINZ, Germany, April 11, 2011 — Dilas has enhanced its line of diode laser bars with its 1210- and 1320-nm models.
The fiber-coupled diode laser modules generate output powers of 12, 25, 40 and 100 W, using a standard single-core 600-μm fiber with a numerical aperture under 0.22 and SMA-905 fiber connector. They are suitable for integration into a host of applications targeted at the medical market.
Easily integrated into OEM equipment, these sealed, conduction-cooled instruments feature options such as power meter, visible pointer, serial fiber interlocks and user exchangeable protection window, providing maximum flexibility for integration into larger systems. The new models also feature wall-plug efficiencies >40 percent.
The company’s high-power diode laser bars can be integrated principally into all Dilas packages, ranging from single-bar configurations to large-scale stack modules that can include hundreds of bars per module.
