Jenoptik.jpgThe new 880-nm continuous-wave fiber-coupled diode lasers from Jenoptik Laserdiode GmbH are passively cooled with air or tap water. They feature high optical output power up to 140 W, a fiber core diameter of 400 or 600 μm, a numerical aperture of 0.22 and a lifetime of >20,000 h. They deliver a typical spectral bandwidth of 5 nm full width half maximum. While cooling, they offer a flow rate of >3 l/min, a diode laser operating temperature from 15 to 55 °C and water temperature from 8 to 20 °C. The instruments are suitable for pumping solid-state and fiber lasers, and for materials processing and medical applications.
