DILAS.jpgAn 880-nm, fiber-coupled, conduction-cooled diode laser bar is available from Dilas Diode Laser Inc. It delivers up to 30 W of CW power out of a 400-μm output fiber with a numerical aperture of <0.22. It has a wall-plug efficiency of >35% and typical drive current of <45 A. Typical spectral width is <3 nm FWHM. The laser power from the module is delivered via a single-core fiber 400 μm in diameter with a 0.22 NA, which is terminated with a standard SMA 905 connector. The laser bar is suitable for pumping Nd:YAG solid-state lasers in medical applications.
