GOTHENBURG, Sweden, March 24, 2016 — Direct Metal Laser Sintering SystemEOS GmbH has introduced the M 100 system for direct metal laser sintering with applications including the production of dental crowns and bridges. The system corresponds to the EOS M 290 metal system.

The system features a 200-W fiber laser and can process two types of materials, specifically EOS CobaltChrome SP2 and EOS StainlessSteel 316L, depending on the industry application. The system’s build space and an efficient recoating and exposure strategy reduce nonproductive time periods.
