MIDDLETOWN, Conn., Oct. 11, 2016 — Displacement Sensing SystemKaman Precision Products Inc. has announced the KD-2306 single-channel multipurpose noncontact displacement sensing system.

When paired with supported dual and single coil sensors, the KD-2306 becomes an easy-to-use, high-precision static and dynamic measuring system. Its DIN rail mount interface makes it ideal for integration into OEM equipment and industrial control applications.

The device is a cost-effective replacement for linear variable differential transformers, air gauges, dial indicators and micrometers. Ideal for applications ranging from lab work to production and process automation, the KD-2306 supports both dual and single coil sensors. With single-ended, bipolar and differential voltage outputs, it offers front-face coarse and fine calibration controls.
