MIDDLETOWN, Conn., March 15, 2019 — Displacement SensorsExtreme environment high-precision displacement sensors and systems from Kaman Precision Products feature an all-welded and hermetic construction for rocket and turbine engine validation testing.

The KD-1925, KD-1950, and KD-1975 models use KDM-8206EE signal conditioning electronics. Operating temperatures range from −320 °F to 1000 °F. Displacement systems withstand psi pressure up to 5000 lbs. Their dual-coil sensor design effectively minimizes temperature effects. A full variable channeled rack, a half-rack system, and the NEMA housing enclosure are available.

The series is also ideal for other applications that require high accuracy, reliability, and structural integrity, such as nuclear reactors, steam and gas turbines, chemical processes, and high-temperature processing.
