DORTMUND, Germany, June 15, 2015 — trans data elektronik Micro Distribution Cable (tMD)Trans data elektronik GmbH has announced the Micro Distribution Cable (tMD), a thin, highly flexible fiber optic cable that facilitates cabinet-to-cabinet cabling and the direct connection of active components in data centers.

With a small cable diameter and limited cable volume, the cables unburden cable runs and cabinets, making them a viable alternative to conventional breakout cables.

A classic loose tube design makes them an economical option.
