Double-Sided Telecentric Lenses

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 1, 2007 -- Navitar today introduced a line of high-resolution double-sided telecentric lenses with object and image space telecentricity that produce more accurate images than a typical object-side telecentric lens. Designed for CCD and CMOS cameras with sensors up to 28.7-mm diagonal for use in industrial dimensional measurement, they are well-suited for the automotive industry, small-parts manufacturing, metrology and pharmaceutical packaging, the company said.

Lenses are available with magnification from 0.03X to 2.00X and, for large-format cameras, from 0.239X to 0.478X.

The lenses have less than 0.1-percent image distortion, produce no parallax error or image vignetting and maintain magnification within the entire depth of field, Navitar said.

LED ring light, coaxial and collimated illumination accessories are available.
