ABB.jpgABB Inc.’s ACS850 drive module provides onboard safe-torque-off, a removable memory block, an intelligent user interface, a built-in energy-saving calculator, and modular hardware and software. Designed for industrial machinery and OEM applications, it also includes an advanced adaptation of a proprietary high-performance motor-control platform, the Direct Torque Control. The device delivers from 1.5 to 600 hp at 480 VAC. It is engineered to work with the company’s latest generation of high-speed serial interface modules and DriveStudio software.
