BERLIN, June 13, 2016 — The A50-150C VCSEL driver transmitter from VI Systems GmbH is optimized for very low power consumption and versatile deployment in short reach optical interconnects for data center and high-performance computing applications.

The driver integrated circuit is capable of data transmission of up to 54 Gbps in non-return-to-zero modulation format.
