SOUTHINGTON, Conn., Aug. 26, 2010 — For machine vision applications requiring high speed and high resolutions, Baumer has introduced the SXG Dual GigE cameras that transfer data at rates as fast as 240 MB/s and at distances of up to 100 m.

Offering double the bandwidth of standard GigE cameras, the Dual GigE’s simple interface features two Ethernet cables that improve security and ensure that data is maintained, even if one Ethernet cable is disconnected.

The cameras are equipped with state-of-the-art Kodak sensors featuring quad tap readouts to simultaneously deliver good image quality and high frame rates. Image resolution ranges from 1 to 8 megapixels, and frame rates range from 16 to 120 fps.

All SXG Dual GigE Cameras are available with Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, eliminating the need for a separate power cable.
