LOEBAU, Germany, Dec. 11, 2015 — Dust Extraction SystemULT AG has announced the LAS 2500 extraction system for the removal of laser fumes and dust.

The system provides high contaminant-filtration rates, simplified filter handling and long filter lives. It reduces compressed air consumption and lowers energy expenses for jet or rotary nozzle dedusting of applied filter cartridges. Conic filter cartridges enable increased filter performance and pressure with independent pneumatic cleaning due to the filter cartridge's design layout.

High separation efficiency is ensured for various particulate matters of more than 99.99 percent. The system is suited for laser materials processing such as laser cutting, welding, structuring, marking or ablation.
