YOKNEAM, Israel, Aug. 26, 2013 — Senso Optics’ EDAN-FCS electro-optical day/night fire-control system is compatible with various gun diameters for target acquisition, direct aiming and firing in all weather conditions.

The system is nitrogen-sealed and rugged to withstand the recoil force of guns up to 155 mm in caliber. The integrated tactical fire-control computer and gun-sighting unit provide day and night surveillance.

An evolution of the company’s Advanced Gun Sighting System for artillery guns, the system comprises an uncooled narrow-field-of-view thermal sight, a wide-field-of-view thermal sight, a day sight, and an eye-safe laser rangefinder for aiming and target acquisition.
