PriorScientific_TLL.jpgPrior Scientific Inc. has added a transistor-transistor logic control feature to its ProScan II and Prior PCI2 high-speed stepper motor controllers. Each of the four inputs on both devices can be configured to control the X-Y stage, focus motor, filter wheels and shutters and to adjust the light level on the Lumen 200Pro motorized fluorescence illumination system. Transistor-transistor logic triggers can be configured to change focus position to perform Z-stacks, change the X-Y stage position, change fluorescence filters, open and close shutters, and attenuate the Lumen 200Pro fluorescence illuminator light output. The control method eliminates serial communications delays and increases throughput in applications such as high-throughput screening and multiple-position three-dimensional imaging.
