Master Bond Inc. has introduced a two-component epoxy adhesive, sealant and coating that provides good chemical resistance and high thermal stability. EP21ARHT-1 offers long-term resistance to fuels, oils, ethanol, lubricating compounds and active organic solvents. It can withstand long-term exposures to strong mineral acid solutions and vapors at temperatures of 200 °F and above. The epoxy is 100% reactive and does not include solvents or diluents. It also has a 2:1 mix ratio by weight and cures at room temperature. Designed to withstand thermal shock and abrasion, it acts as an electric insulator and provides a service operating temperature range of -60 to 350 °F.
