WOBURN, Mass., Feb. 3, 2014 — Energetiq Technology Inc. is now offering the EQ-99X and EQ-99XFC laser-driven light sources. Based on the EQ-99 series of proprietary Laser-Driven Light Sources (LDLS), the devices offer ultrahigh brightness for advanced technology applications such as spectroscopy and imaging.

Both models offer broadband light in a compact package; the EQ-99XFC model also offers fiber-coupled output with proprietary Fiber-Protection Technology, which improves long-term deep-UV output by an order of magnitude.

The LDLS products emit over the 170- to 2100-nm spectral range. The company says that they offer 10× the lifetime of traditional xenon and deuterium lamps.
