NESHER, Israel, Jan. 14, 2013 — A compact electronic autocollimator from Duma Optronics Ltd. includes an LED, a CCD camera, measurement software, a USB 2.0 interface and integrated X-Y tilt mechanics.

The system measures minute angular displacements for various optical setup alignment tasks and is a portable beam alignment solution. Features include a coarse alignment telescope, a leveling bubble and adjustment pan tilt knobs.

Applications include measurement of mirror angle, straightness measurement of linear stages, characterization of rotation stages and measurement of surface flatness.

Resolution is 0.1 s, and accuracy is 2.5 s.
