Electronic Inspection SensorAutomation Technology GmbH has equipped its C6 series of 3D sensors with the MultiPart and MultiPeak features to enable a higher level of 3D electronics inspection.

MultiPart allows up to ten different features to be output simultaneously, regardless of pixel format or algorithm. In addition to the information about different peaks, it also provides users with reflectance, scatter, or confidence data, making it possible to generate a photorealistic representation of the inspection object instead of the previous simple point cloud and easily implement 2D inspection tasks such as character recognition or inspection of QR codes. MultiPeak allows information about different peaks to be available for suppressing secondary reflections of the laser line.
