FEUSISBERG, Switzerland, Oct. 31, 2016 — Electronics Simulation ToolFluxim AG has announced a Large Area Organic Electronics Simulation Tool (LAOSS) aimed specifically at the design of large-area organic electronics devices such as OLEDs for displays and lighting as well as organic and perovskite solar cells.

Organic electronics technology is the ability to create large and free- form devices. The Laoss software is used to design optimal electrode layouts of any shape with and without current carrying grids. A carefully designed electrode layout avoids non-uniformities that arise due to the resistance of the electrode and charge injecting layers.

The Laoss tool can be used in combination with Fluxim’s Setfos software for the design of OLED/PV layer stacks as well as with results from the Paios measurement platform.
