VAN NUYS, Calif., Aug. 8, 2022 — Elevator StagesThe DAG20-120-01 and the DAG20-120-04 motorized elevator stages from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. are high-resolution, compact, low-profile devices with high-stability 120- × 120-mm tables and 20 mm of vertical travel.

High-precision ball bearing profile rails ensure parallelism and smooth motion throughout the raising and lowering of the table. They feature 2-μm positioning accuracy and resolutions of 0.03 μm. The knob for manual adjustment on the DAG20-120-01 is replaced with a quadrature incremental optical encoder for position verification on the DAG20-120-04. The Z-axis stages feature a 20-kg load capacity and can be used in microscopy, inspection, metrology, positioning, photonics, sampling, and laser drilling and machining.
