Solid-State Lighting Assembly
MELBOURNE, Fla., March 16, 2006 -- Elk Industries, a Melbourne, Fla., developer of solid-state lighting products, has introduced its ElkLight 8-Up solid-state lighting assembly product line.
These modular, super-bright assemblies are suitable for indoor/outdoor lighting applications. They provide clear, quiet, bright well-dispersed light efficiently, said Rob Elkins, owner of Elk Industries.
ElkLight 8-Up lighting modules operate from either 12 to 19.7 or 24 volts @ 1.5 amps maximum and dissipate only 24 W of electricity @ 19.7 volts DC. The modules, which cost $300 per 100, are available in bright white (5500 K), amber and many other colors.
