Emergency LED DriverFulham Co. Inc. has announced the HotSpot Plus all-in-one LED driver and emergency system, combining a dimmable driver, emergency driver and replaceable backup battery for LEDs in one package.

The system eliminates the need for a separate emergency system and has been developed to meet the needs of commercial builders who are asked to meet safety requirements for more emergency lighting in new construction and retrofit projects. It functions as a 40-W constant-current LED driver during normal working conditions, delivering 250 to 1400 mA of current

If a power outage occurs, the system automatically engages an integrated LiFePO4 6.4 VDC backup battery to maintain the availability of current, delivering 5 W of power for 180 minutes or 10 W for 90 min. The HotSpot Plus is available in compact or linear formats.
