End-Pumped DPSS Series LEPLee Laser's Series LEP end-pumped Nd:YAG lasers are the newest members of its diode-pumped solid-state product line. The Series LEP has Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO4 models for a variety of micromachining applications.

Initial offerings include the Nd:YAG Model LEP-6TQ rated at 6-W average power at 10-kHz pulse rate, and the Nd:YVO4 Model LEP-V6TQ rated at 6 W at 30 kHz. Both produce a high-quality TEM00 beam with M2 <1.1.

OEM configurations of both lasers are available. The power supply is 19-in. rack-mountable with a front panel height of 7 in. (178 mm). The optical assembly is a compact 23 in. (584 mm) long, which may also include an optional beam expander. Optical beam centerline height is 4.25 in. (108 mm). The lasers are completely air cooled and will operate in environments up to 35 °C.

The Nd:YAG Model LEP-6TQ is intended for a variety of trimming and marking applications where the operational pulse rates are less than 20 kHz. The Nd:YVO4 Model LEP-V6TQ benefits from highly stable pulse rates from 20 to 100 kHz for high-speed micromachining. For both lasers, nominal pulse widths are near 30 ns over their entire range of pulse rates.
