Photonics Industries International Inc. has unveiled an air-cooled version of its diode-pumped eye-safe wavelength laser. The DC-ES series offers wavelengths in the 1.516- to 1.6-μm range, with up to 10 mJ per pulse at 6- to 10-ns pulse widths. The repetition rate ranges from single shot to 200 Hz. Applications include NIR spectrometry and mid-IR spectroscopy.
