RENO, Nev., April 5, 2013 — The FG-400CL from Sundance Digital Signal Processing Inc. is a camera link frame grabber designed for use as a stand-alone and as PCIe and PCIe104 form factors to deliver a fully user-controllable field-programmable gate array (FPGA), including proprietary IP core.

The frame grabber’s open FPGA enables users to implement proprietary image preprocessing algorithms, and it can send data to other Sundance DSP-based multiprocessing and multi-FPGA modules and board. A graphical user interface on Windows allows users to reconfigure the FPGA, or stream data to the host or specified file for storage.

The device has a variety of input/output capabilities, including USB2, RS-232 serial links, GPIOs and 2x fiber connectors.
