Martin, Froeschner & Associates' fiber-coupled laser source module offers a user-specified base wavelength in the C- and L-bands from 1528 to 1630 nm. Output power and wavelength are tuned by manual controls and/or electronic modulation input signals. Specifications include a wavelength tuning range of 3 nm, spectral linewidth of <10 MHz, output wavelength stability within 0.1 GHz for 24 h and long-term drift <25 GHz for 25 years. Output power at the FC/APC single-mode polarization-maintaining connector is 40 mW CW.
