Sunex.jpgThe M12-EXM-IRC21 and CCS-EXM-IRC21 from Sunex Inc. are infrared cutoff filter exchangers that allow true day/night operation of C-/CS-mount cameras based on Pixim Inc.’s chipsets. An absorptive color filter provides true color rendition during daytime operation, and an antireflection-coated window allows maximum light transmission for night. The latching solenoid requires power only to make the exchange, minimizing power consumption and heat generation. Operation requires a two-pin connector and a ±3-V, 100-ms signal. Applications include security and surveillance.
