Semrock_qdot_filters.jpgBrightLine single-band fluorescence filter sets optimized for the most popular quantum dot nanocrystals have been announced by Semrock Inc. Each set comprises three filters: a universal excitation filter and a universal dichroic beamsplitter for all of the quantum dots in the series, and a specific emission filter tailored to the fluorescence emission spectrum of the associated quantum dot nanocrystal. The emitters have high transmission and steep edges, coupled with optimized and narrow bandwidths to match the 525-, 605- and 655-nm quantum dots. They minimize crosstalk from all neighboring quantum dots. The filters are made with hard dielectric coatings.
