Terahertz.jpgTerahertz Technologies Inc. has released the FW-2000 motorized filter wheel, which has applications in photography, fluorescence microscopy and photometry. The eight-position wheel houses filters from 1 to 8 mm thick and has a clear aperture diameter of 23 mm that can be rotated continuously 360° around the motor axis. The wheel may be controlled by push buttons or remotely through its USB 2.0 interface, and it includes Windows-compatible software that enables the user to determine the status, to select a filter and to program filter sequences with selectable dwell times.
