FISBA READYBeamThe development of diode emitters with increasing power and variety enables their usage in a rapidly growing field of scientific and industrial applications. In some cases, it becomes possible to replace bulky gas or solid-state lasers. The FISBA READYBeamTM is an extremely compact multi-color laser module including full electronic integration and active thermal management. Currently two versions are available, a READYBeamTM bio and a READYBeamTM ind covering 405/488/638 nm and 450/520/660 nm. The module comes single-mode fiber coupled, the individual channels can be modulated independently and are calibrated up to 40 mW operating power ex-fiber. As a true “turnkey” solution and as an OEM product, the READYBeamTM facilitates the integration into existing instrumentation as well as future development and evolution. Applications addressed by READYBeamTM in Life Sciences are mainly fluorescence-based techniques like flow cytometry and confocal microscopy, or related techniques like high content screening and sorting. In industrial production environments the focus is on metrology, projection applications, and display technologies that need to operate multi-color lasers.
