Frankfurt Laser Co. has introduced the FLC300 laser diode system for applications in fiber optic communications.

The new system delivers fiber output power of 2 mW to 300 W, and wavelengths ranging from 450 to 1550 nm. It features an adjustable LCD display for power, current, temperature and pulse width readings. The system can be controlled manually or with a RS232 port.
