PicoQuant GmbH has released Version 3.2 of its FluoFit multiexponential fluorescence decay fit software for PCs, suitable for applications such as time-resolved fluorescence analysis, fundamental dye research, protein dynamics and general data fitting. It supports 32-bit Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT and XP platforms and features an easy-to-use graphical installer. The software implements an iterative reconvolution of the instrument response and the observed fluorescence decay with nonlinear error minimization. Parameters and options can be adjusted manually, and user preferences are automatically stored. Numerical and graphical results can be printed and saved. The FluoFit enables import and processing of anisotropy data, including calculation of the decay and estimation of the G-factor. Users of previous versions receive a free update.
