BitFlow Inc. has unveiled the RoHS-compliant Neon-CL, a Power over Camera Link (PoCL) frame grabber that operates at data rates of up to 255 MB/s and acquires up to 24 bits at 85 MHz. It can acquire from all Base Camera Link cameras and has enough industrial I/O to handle complicated synchronization tasks. It can be added to OEM applications with the company’s software development kit, which supports 32- and 64-bit operating systems, and it is backward-compatible with non-PoCL cameras and cables. The frame grabber provides direct memory access at data rates of up to 528 MB/s. There is no frame rate limit, and no onboard memory is required.
