Alacron Inc. has developed integration support for Basler-MVC's L301bc line-scan camera. FastFrame and FastImage 1300 frame grabbers can capture up to 64 b of digital data with control and clock signals. Field-programmable gate arrays on the front end allow integration to standard or nonstandard I/O configuration. When used with the L301bc camera, the system is suitable for quality and continuous improvement applications such as print and currency inspection, food processing, and lumber sorting and inspection.
