OBERUHLDINGEN, Germany, Oct. 16, 2015 — FTIR SpectrometerThe Hyper-Cam Methane from Telops Inc. is an Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer for remote sensing of methane.

The instrument is designed to detect and monitor methane gas leaks and emissions at low concentrations and flow rates. An enclosure allows it to be used for outdoor measurements.

The instrument incorporates a Michelson-type interferometer, which operates in the 7.34- to 8.25-μm spectral region, providing user-selectable spectral resolution up to 0.25 cm-1 and equipped with a 320 × 256-pixel Stirling-cooled focal plane array detector.

The distributor is SphereOptics GmbH.
