EDINBURGH, Scotland, March 10, 2023 — FTIR SpectrometerThe IR5 Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer from Edinburgh Instruments Ltd. is a high-performance benchtop instrument that can be configured with a second detector or with Fourier-transform photoluminescence (FT-PL) capability.

The FT-PL option transforms the IR5 into a combined absorption and PL spectrometer in the MIR range, suitable for demanding research applications. It features high sensitivity and spectral resolution, the option for a second detector for higher sensitivity at selected spectral ranges, and simple operation suitable for all user levels. Moisture control technology precludes required maintenance.
