Jasco Inc. has launched the IRT-5000 FTIR microscope. The device comes standard with a midband MCT detector and allows up to two detectors to be installed simultaneously. With the addition of a linear array detector, the microscope can be upgraded for IR imaging. The standard “IQ Mapping” function enables performance of multipoint, line, area and ATR mapping experiments without moving the sample stage. An optional X-Y-Z sample stage enables autofocus and mapping analysis of large sample areas. Optional ATR and grazing angle reflection objectives expand the capability of the system.
