for Raman Spectroscopy
TRENTON, N.J., Feb. 11 -- Princeton Instruments and Acton Research Corp., a designer of spectroscopic instrumentation, is proud to announce the HTS lens spectrograph. With a fast optical design, the HTS is well-suited for many applications in the visible spectrum, such as Raman and luminescence spectroscopy.

The HTS is an f/1.8 imaging spectrograph optimized for fiber optic light collection. The instrument comes standard with an internal shutter, manually controlled micrometer-tunable wavelength adjustment and a manually adjustable bilateral entrance slit (10 µm to 3 mm). Two interchangeable gratings, 600 g/mm and 830 g/mm, are available, enabling operation over the wavelength range of approximately 400 nm to 950 nm. The instrument is provided with a calibration table, ready for operation with industry-standard WinSpec and SpectraSense application software.

"This spectrograph combines ultrafast optics and top-quality imaging performance in a compact, rugged package," says sectroscopy product manager Marc D. Neglia.

The HTS lens spectrograph is fully compatible with all Princeton Instruments high-performance digital cameras, such as the Pixis CCD and PI-MAX ICCD. Acton Research offers a wide variety of accessories, including fiber optic input adapters and a notch filter input optical chamber.
